he finally got the hint and walked away, I scanned the bar. There were a few guys taking shots at the end of the bar, a few girls doing the same, but then I spotted two men, sitting and chatting not interested in what was going on around them. I walked up to them, with my chest pushed out. They both stopped talking when I reached between them and grabbed a straw from the bar. The man with the sandy colored hair was first to speak while the second just stared.
“Hi there beautiful,” he said with a charming smile. I bat my eyelashes at them and they both smiled wider. “Hey,” I stated in the best seductive voice I could muster.
“What are you drinking?” the other guy asked. His hair was almost the same as his friend’s, just a bit darker and longer. They were both good looking men.
“Oh, anything with alcohol. I just want to get drunk,” I emphasized, playing my best role of the horny girl. They looked at each other and smiled. They didn’t think I noticed, but I always noticed.
“We can help with that,” the blond man said and waved to the bartender for shots. The other guy had gone quiet again, as the sandy blond dude seemed to do most of the speaking.
“That’d be fabulous.” I smiled as brightly as I could. They passed me my first shot, and they had one as well. Then the second, but they don’t do one with me. I pretended to feel the effects when, in reality, I could drink as much as any man. I’d had the practice.
“Whoa! You want to come home with me tonight, beautiful?” the sandy blonde haired dude said. His friend smiled, then got up and left while he wrapped his hands around my waist. I nodded my head to him and he grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the entrance. I passed Sarena on the way and she slipped something into my hand. I didn’t know exactly what it was until I spotted it in the light. It was a syringe, filled with liquid.
He stopped out front and pulled me down the alley. I played the best drunk girl act I could muster, pretending not to walk properly and faking a trip. He lapped it up, pulling me to him.
There was no one in the alley, at least from what I could see. He pushed me against the wall and started kissing my neck. I didn’t mind, as I said he wasn’t that bad looking. Just not my type.
“Let’s try something different,” I whispered as I straightened up and smiled at him. He looked confused at my sudden soberness, but didn’t think on it as he nodded and started kissing my neck again.
He kissed like a dog; my neck was covered in saliva. I wanted to stop it, stop the drool that was covering me. I unclipped the syringe and didn’t even think twice as I shoved it in his neck and injected it all. His mouth froze and his hand flew up, but it didn’t take long for him to drop. He nearly fell on me, which I was careful to sidestep.
“You should be more careful,” a man’s voice came from the dark alley. I tried to see him, but it was pitch black.
“And why is that?” I questioned the hidden stranger.
“You never know who’s watching,” he said and my eyes stayed glued to where the voice was coming from. I contemplated walking to where he was, but decided against it when I saw the man on the ground. My name was called and then the stranger spoke again.
“Till I see you again, Aria.” I watched his silhouette retreat and wondered how he knew who I was.
“Where are you, woman?” Sarena hissed into the dark alley. I flashed my phone on so she could see, then she ran off. In seconds, a van pulled up, and then my grueling bodyguard hauled the sandy blond dude from the ground and into the van. He didn’t speak as he took him away and I wondered what to do now.
“You ready to train him?” Sarena asked as we reached her car. She didn’t say anything else about the night and I was curious what she did the whole time.
“How do I do that?”
“You break him, then make him want you. We picked you because you’re beautiful, no reasonable man would
