excuse, soon.
She pulled herself together, then got up from the sofa to begin putting her things away. So she could slip into her pajamas and get the pity party started. Foiled again at the hands of a lying, wayward cock. She was slamming drawers and cabinet doors so hard, she almost didn’t hear the phone when it rang. She shot a quick glance at the clock. It read 3:32pm. I bet it’s that selfish asshole. It’s nearly 4:00pm! How dare he call me this late!
She was angry, but deep down inside, she was leaping with joy. Maybe she would be able to end the drought after all. She reached for her phone and as she suspected, the display read, “Colby Roberts”. She thought about not answering, but the thumping in her panties wouldn’t allow it. She needed some cock and this was the closest she’d been to a viable option in forever. She had to pull it together.
“Hello?” She did her best to conceal her disgust. She didn’t want to give him even the slightest inclination that she was pissed.
“Hello, Ms. Franks,” he smugly responded.
“Who am I speaking with?” She knew that question was a gut punch to an egotistical man on the other end of a phone line, so she hit him hard and direct.
He chuckled and she became even more furious. “It’s Colby. You mean to tell me you haven’t saved my number in your phone after I came all this way?” To say Melissa’s blood had reached the boiling point was the understatement of the year. But, she knew he was trying to get under her skin and she knew she couldn’t allow him to know that he had.
She took a deep breath, desperate to conceal her anger, then answered, laughing. “I don’t usually lock a number into my phone unless I know for sure I’m going to be using it frequently.” Take that, you asshole.
He chuckled again and it made her even madder. Arrogant bastard. I can’t believe Lucy did this to me. Before she knew it, her body began to hum in anticipation of receiving Colby’s sexual fury. With each pompous quip, she became more and more aroused. The more aroused she became, the angrier she got. This guy is going to be so much trouble. Why don’t I just hang up in his face right now?
“What do I have to do to convince you to stick me in there?” The question was so loaded, her nipples instantly flashed rock hard. Yes, Colby Roberts was going to be a challenge.
“If you behave, I’ll certainly stick it in there.” Oh my god, what am I saying?! What am I doing?! She couldn’t believe she was participating in verbal foreplay with a man who had already proven he was unreliable and far too arrogant to be of any good use to her. Aside from the pleasure pole between his legs.
“That’s good to know…so, about dinner...”
The tension was thick and they each knew that they’d thrown down the gauntlet. Soon, they’d have to put their money where their mouths were and only one person would come out on top. Although, Melissa had a feeling that before the night was over, they’d both have a chance to do some mounting.
“Yes, are we still on for dinner?” As angry as she was when she first answered the phone, the resulting exchange had only piqued her interest even more. She had to see who this Colby Roberts was and she had to know, tonight.
“If you’ll still do me the honor,” he responded, his voice indicating a hint of doubt.
“I’d love to have dinner with you.” She nearly reminded him that he told her he’d call around midday, but she changed her mind. There were better ways of making him regret leaving her hanging and she had all the right skills to get her point across.
“Great. What time can I pick you up? I’ll make reservations for us.”
“How about 7?” She didn’t want to seem too eager and she needed time to pull herself together. She would not be rushed.
“Seven, it is. I’m looking forward to it. Text me your address and I’ll be at your place by 6:30pm.”
    “Same here. See you, soon.”
    She waited a couple
