out of my head, but I can't.
I thought if I came here and you turned me away, I could get over it.”
    “Did
you want me to send you away? Do you regret what we’ve done?” He had many one-night
stands through the years. It never bothered him before when it ended after a
brief encounter, but he wanted more with Sofia. He needed time to explore this
and see where they were headed.
    “No,
I wanted to be with you. I still do.” She crawled into his lap making him feel
comforted. “I know this is sudden for you. I've had years to fantasize about us.”
    “I'm
pretty sure you'll be starring in all of my fantasies from now on.” He pressed his
face against her neck and trailed a line of kisses down to her shoulder.
    “I
don’t want you to do anything you don't want.” She played with the hair at the
nape of his neck. Her touch was his new obsession.
    “I
want you, Sofia. I want to see where we can take this.” He wrapped his arms
around her delicate frame “Spend the night with me. I want to get to know you.”
    “I
want to sleep in your arms tonight.”
    He
kissed the top of her head. “You need to call your dad so he doesn't worry.”
    “He's
not going to understand why I'm sleeping here.”
    “Just
tell him you came to visit and the storm took an unexpected turn. I know he
wouldn’t want you to drive in this.”
    She
nodded but he could see the worry in her expression.
    “We'll
figure out a way to make this work.” They had to. Now that she had the courage
to come to him, he couldn't let her go. He stroked her hair as she snuggled
into his chest.  He wasn't sure how he knew, but she was meant to be his.
    “I
guess I didn't think all of this through. I know Aiden will be okay with this,
but my dad may be another story.”
    “I'll
help make him see. I know it'll be awkward, but I'll assure him that I would
never hurt you.” He didn't want to think about that particular conversation at
this moment. “How do you know Aiden will be okay with this?”
    She
smiled and then buried her head in the crook of his neck. He felt her body
shake with a giggle. The little minx was far too adorable.
    “Did
he know about your little crush?”
    “Yes.”
She pulled away and looked up at him. “I had a hard time keeping it from him,
especially when I went all giddy every time I came to visit my senior year of
high school. I can't believe you never noticed.”
    Four
years ago, Tanner wouldn’t have noticed a seventeen year old kid, but now
things were much different.
    “That
was a few years ago,” he said. “I can't imagine he would have thought you would
have acted on your desires or I would have reciprocated.”
    “It
was Aiden's idea for me to come here tonight.”
    “What?”
Shocked didn't begin to describe how he felt about his son playing matchmaker.
    “He
said we both deserved something good tonight. He knew I was still attracted to
you and told me to go for it. He hates that you're alone and you throw yourself
into your work. He thought we could help one another.”
    “Hmm.”
He ran his fingers through his hair trying to process everything that had
happened this evening.
    “Are
you angry?” He heard the anxiety in her voice. “I just wanted you to know Aiden
won't be upset with you.”
    “You've
given me many gifts tonight.” He smiled. “Maybe I should start returning the
favor.” He ran his hand down the length of her arm, watching how she responded
to his touch. Thoughts of being inside her warm, wet pussy flooded his head. It
didn’t take long for his cock to catch up.
    “Are
you comfortable? We could go upstairs if you'd like.”
    “No,
the tree and the fireplace are so pretty. Can we stay down here a little
longer?”
    “Of
course, sweetheart.” He kissed her. “Whatever you want.” He would give this
woman anything she asked for. In a matter of a night she had hooked him.
    It
looked as if Jill's wish for him came true. He did find something extra special
under his tree tonight. The
