Kelly shyly nodded yes. “If you promise not to cry...” I looked at her parents for their permission before I made my offer to Kelly “...I will buy you another cone, how about that. Would you like another cone?” Kelly looked at me beaming and shook her head in agreement. I could not help noticing that something was not quite right with Kelly, although she seemed happy, she looked tired and a bit pale.
“My name is Julia and this is my husband Scott. Thanks for being so understanding. She really loves ice-cream.”
“My name is Emily, and hey, what is there not to love about ice-cream.” I smiled as we walked the short distance to get Kelly another ice-cream cone. “Which flavor would you like?”
    “Strawberry!”
“Okay, there you go. A shiny, new strawberry ice-cream just for you Kelly.”
“Thank you.” I smiled at how easy it could be to please someone. All it took was one ice-cream cone. If only life were that simple. If only all our problems could be solved by eating an ice-cream cone then the world would be perfect.
“Well Julia, Scott, and especially you, Kelly, I must go now as I have an appointment to keep but it was nice to meet you all.”
“Thanks again for letting Kelly off so easily.” I laughed at the comment, waved goodbye to Kelly and continued my walk across the park to get home.

I got into the apartment and decided not to call Ronnie to try and back out of her offer, not that it would make a difference anyway. “Shit, what am I going to wear?” What am I taking about? I would probably be hiding under the bed while they went at it, with the mattress hitting my head each time Mark pounded into Ronnie. “Aarrgghhhh.” I decided to keep things simple. Jeans and a tee-shirt was the order of the day, oh and maybe my cycle helmet.
As I started to get dressed my nervousness was building. I had never done anything like this before and never even considered that I would. I had seen erotic films before but never anything XXX rated. I wondered what Ronnie was going to do knowing that I would be there watching. Would she be more conservative with her lovemaking to Mark or would she turn up the heat? And Mark, it may not be fair to him to be spied on without knowing. I hoped that he would not be too mad at Ronnie or me when he found out. It would only be fair for Ronnie to tell him ...eventually.
I decided to have a glass of red before I made my journey to the Hilton, where the show was about to take place. I needed to calm my nerves a bit and a glass of red seemed more sensible than a bottle of gin.
“I hope they don’t get frisky and ask me to join in. Hell freaking no, I will not do that! That’s just wrong on so many levels because...oh shut up, Emily and stop being such a wuss.” Great, not only was I taking to myself but I graduated to answering too. Fuck, this life expansion thing would not be as easy as I thought. I really should get that visualization book.
I closed my apartment door behind me and made my way down the stairs to where the taxi was already waiting. I took a deep breath and got in.
    “The Hilton, please.”
    Chapter Two A Secret Observer
At 10 PM that night I was standing in the hallway of the Hilton about to knock on the door to Ronnie and Mark’s suite. Then a panic attack came over me. My hand hung in the air with my fist clenched but didn’t make contact with the door. I turned around and was on my way back down the hall when I heard a voice behind me.
“I figured that you might chicken out, it was just lucky that I heard you at the door. Get in here before I chase you down and tackle you to the floor.” From her expression I could see that she was only ribbing me but it was enough to break the tension and allow me to walk back up the hallway to the room. “Good, Mark is in the other room but I want you to keep hidden so that you can just watch and listen.” She took my hand and led me into the room. This was the first time when I actually saw what
