gunshots lit up the streets. The sound of tires screeching quickly followed.
Capo quickly hopped up and returned fire at the car before the car disapeared around the corner.
At that moment the “tone it down” talk went straight out the window.
Whoever had just tried take their life, would have to pay with their own Capo thought as he tucked his .380 back into his waistband. “You still want to tone it down?” Capo chuckled. Wayne ignored that last comment as he and Tank hopped in the Suburban and peeled off.
“ How you want to handle this?” Moose asked looking at Capo.
“ You already know how” Capo smirked as he and Moose hopped in his
Benz and broke out.

On the ride to Mr. Goldberg’s office Wayne was silent. All that was on his mind was staying out of jail. Wayne already had two charges pending against him, and all the heat that’s been coming down wasn’t helping him one bit. Wayne hated how Capo handled business, but he
loved the end result. All he wished was for Capo to handle things a little more quietly. But deep inside he knew Capo wouldn’t be able to tone it down. It was only one way that Capo knew how to be and that was loud. Wayne he was going to have to do something about the heat that Capo was bringing down on him, and his clock was ticking so he was going have to think of something quick. The Suburban pulled up in the parking spot in front of Mr. Goldberg’s. Wayne hopped out and power walked to the entrance of the building with Tank close on his heels.
“ Hi, how are you doing?” Wayne said politely to the secretary that sat behind the desk. “Can you tell Mr. Goldberg that Wayne is here to see him?”
“ One second please,” the secretary replied politely as she watched Wayne and Tank go take a seat in the waiting area.
“ So what you wanna do about Capo?” Tank asked.
“ Not sure yet” Wayne said as he saw the secretary signal it was okay for them to go in Mr. Goldberg’s office. Wayne and Tank walked in the office and helped themselves to a seat. “How are we looking?” Wayne asked sighing loudly.
“ Believe it or not you looking pretty good” Mr. Goldberg told him.
“ We’re going to beat the murder charge thanks to Capo taking out the star witness, and they don’t have enough evidence to convict you on that drug charge so you’re good” Mr. Goldberg said with a smile.
“ However” he continued. “After you beat these charges the government and the Feds are really going to be coming for your head, so what we need to do is come up with a solution to keep you out of trouble and your name out of shit!”
“ Easier said then done” Wayne said as the trio erupted with laughter.
“ Anything that Capo does my name is automatically brought up.”
“ So what are we going to do about this?” Mr. Goldberg asked. He too knew that Capo was a loose cannon and if he continued on the path that he was going down, neither him or Wayne would have their freedom for much longer.
“ I have no idea” Wayne said massaging his temples. “I told him time and time again to try to tone it down, I just don’t think he can.”
“ I say you need to just cut that clown loose” Tank said straight up.
“ I never liked him anyway!”
“ Nah” Wayne said. “He paid his dues to play this game” even though Capo was a pain in the ass Capo had saved Wayne’s ass and his life on serveral occasions.
“ I have an idea, but I’m going to be honest with you, it’s a long shot” Mr. Goldberg announced.
“ What did you have in mind?” Wayne whispered.
“ I had this one client that introduced me to this hitman or hitwoman I should say, named Angela also known as the Teflon Queen”
“ I heard of her” Wayne said. “She’s from Miami right?”
“ Yup” Mr. Goldberg replied. “Hire her on your team and she’ll be sure to keep Capo in line. Angela don’t play
