Sapphire nearly laughed was she followed Sin’s directions, but a sharp thrust cut off her brain.
Thinking was impossible, she could only feel, him, her-- a combination of their desires like a violent storm. Taking her under, lifting her up, casting her over the edge. “You can always see her at our wedding, after the baby’s born.” Sin growled as he plopped down in his new office chair and tugged Sapphire onto his lap.
Sapphire rolled her eyes and pointed a finger at him. “And you can always leave the compound to Christopher and Jasmine for a few days while we go to the wedding.”
Sin scowled and tugged her closer. “They just mated, Sapphire. And with their new baby, they have enough on their hands.”
Stupid man making sense. Sapphire thought bitterly, trying to find a way to go to the wedding. She hadn’t seen Maxine in ages. not since she sent her to Spain. The thought of seeing her friend finally settling down with an alpha wolf was a sight Sapphire didn’t want to miss .
Sapphire maintained her glaring contest with Sin. “You can’t get anyone more reliable than those two.”
Sin shook his head. “Face it Sapphire, you’re not going.”
