Chapter 1 – The Unexpressed Feelings
Rita sighed. This would be her first weekend alone in a long time. Her hot stepbrother Gideon would be here with her, and it would be their first weekend alone together. Of course, it would be the first since her new feelings started to bubble up, and she knew that her extravagant stepbrother would probably end up finding out sooner or later about the feelings that she had for him. Of course, she didn’t know how to go about telling him that, so Rita watched him from afar.
She had a crush on her stepbrother for a very long time. The two of them were close for a while, that is until Gideon moved out and went to college. Rita was still 16 at the time, and in four years the two of them were together again. Of course, puberty happened to both and things changed, and since he came back and started living with them again, everything had changed between them. Rita had a small schoolgirl crush before, but now that their true feelings have been revealed, it was obvious that they would have to figure things out sooner or later, or at least Rita had to. She was practically infatuated with her, and she didn’t know what to do about it.
For one, her parents would probably kill her. Her mother remarried after the divorce, but she was still in contact with her father. Rita did visit them, and if her dad found but he would probably cuss out his ex for being so stupid with her choices in men, and then he would proceed to probably skin Gideon alive. That is, if he felt the same way about her. Her mother was kind of cool about that sort of thing, but her new husband wasn’t. He didn’t want Rita dating anyone period, much less a man that was his son. It was taboo, but that only made the desires that Rita had for the other man stronger.
She scampered downstairs to the kitchen, where Gideon was. He was shirtless, and he gave her a warm smile in greeting. She froze, the blood rushing to her head, as she looked at her stepbrother, the man who was two
