he had been vague as to specifics. At thirty-six he was twelve years older than she, but she had always been attracted to older men, and he was so confident and comfortable in his own skin that he just oozed sex appeal. He had a cool, dominant and wholly male demeanour that excited her like no other man had.
Shaking herself out of her reverie, she stood back and studied her reflection critically in the mirror. She had donned a long white chiffon gown that was virtually transparent. Before they had parted earlier that day Aaron had given her a package and instructions to wear the contents that evening. Looking at herself now, almost naked save for the filmy fabric, brought all her previous nervousness bubbling to the surface. She supposed that the point was for her not to wear underwear, but she couldn’t go that far, so instead she had donned flesh-coloured bra and panties which at least covered her private parts but were not obvious—she was happy with the result.
He had told her not to wear makeup and to leave her hair down so she had washed and dried it and it now fell in a thick blanket past her shoulders. The only other beauty routine she could perform was to apply lightly scented moisturiser liberally to her face and body. She was pleased that she had had her legs and bikini line waxed recently, although she was unsure as to whether or not she would become so intimate with Aaron that it would even matter.
She studied her reflection a moment longer and concluded that she looked too much like she was ready for bed. At the last minute she decided to disobey her orders and applied mascara and lipstick—after all, she never left the house without mascara as her blonde colouring made her look too washed out. A moment later she heard the toot of a horn indicating that the car that Aaron had sent for her had arrived. She donned a long trenchcoat and strappy heels—another attempt at warding off the ‘ready for bed’ look—and after grabbing her handbag, she left her apartment.

Aaron was waiting for her when she arrived at Club Erebus. His hair was artfully dishevelled and he was dressed totally in black—jeans, boots and stylish button-up shirt, rolled at the sleeves to reveal tanned, powerful forearms, the effect producing a hot dichotomy of biker meets banker. She stood still, drinking in the sight of him—he reminded her of a dark Ryan Gosling and the realisation sent a shudder through her. She imagined how he would look dressed in a conservative business suit, muscled chest encased in a button-up business shirt and those long legs in smartly creased pants, and she almost swooned. Seeing him again made the events of the previous evening come rushing back to the forefront of her consciousness and she hesitated in uncertainty.
Seeing her hesitation, Aaron stepped towards her and grasped her around the waist. “You’re not running, baby. Now I have you here I’m not letting you go,” he murmured. He stepped away from her and held her at arm’s length, studying her critically. “You’re wearing underwear and makeup,” he said sternly. “You disobeyed me.”
“You didn’t say anything about not wearing underwear, it looked obscene without and I never leave the house without mascara.”
“I wanted you like that. I don’t give instructions for my own amusement. I’m going to have to punish you for disobeying me,” he said, his voice ominously low.
Serena’s insides clenched deliciously at his words and she wondered with mounting excitement and trepidation exactly what her punishment would entail.
Once inside Aaron led Serena to a private booth then demanded that she remove her underwear.
    “What? Here?”
    “Yes. Here, now,” he growled.
She looked about her at the people dotted around the club and noticed with relief that no one was paying them any attention. Quickly, she undid her bra and slid the straps down each arm before slipping the garment off through the front of her gown, then
