before; the age difference was of no consequence to him. Luc loved
women and wasn’t too bothered by convention, preferring curves to bones and
nature to surgical enhancement. He could never figure out why women were so
critical of their own looks when every guy he knew was more than grateful to be
presented with a willing pair of tits and a warm, wet pussy pretty much
regardless of how that was packaged. It’s not like he was looking for a partner,
just some fun.

    Since he’d been
staying at The Renton house he had shagged a couple of girls he’d hooked up
with at various clubs and pubs, but lately Luc realized that it was only Rachel
he really wanted. He hoped there would be a mutual moment of recognition where
he could make a move but if not he was willing to wait until the right
opportunity presented itself.   Luc
was not a shy boy and having been told countless times how attractive he was
over the past few years, decided to put his aesthetics to good use and carry on
teasing his friends’ mum presenting her with visuals wherever possible.

    Having spent the
last hour and a half annihilating aliens from another planet and succeeding,
Luc packed up ready to turn in for the night.

    “I’m off to bed
Rachel! G’night.”

    Rachel was sitting
at the kitchen table busying herself with something on her iPad when she looked
up to see him walking towards her lifting his hand in a departing gesture.

    “D’you want some
tea or something before you go?” she asked him with a tilt of her head and a
little smile. He really was so very pretty to look at; a little tired maybe but
it did nothing to dim the mega watt smile he threw her.

    Sensing an
opportunity, Luc didn’t hesitate to accept her offer and the result was the two
of them chatting long into the night about his degree; Rachel’s previous
career; the twins; and other inane subjects. They were enjoying themselves and
Rachel was laughing at one of Luc’s hilarious stories of the antics he got up
to with her daughters, when Jess and Lucy returned from their night out.

    “Hey Mama; Hey Luc”
greeted Lucy. “Hmm tea! Jess make us a cuppa.” Lucy sat herself down on Luc’s
lap kissing him hard on the cheek wrapping her arms around his neck playfully.

    “Urgh, get off me,
you stink of booze” complained Luc but that just made Lucy cling on harder and
smother his face with little wet licks. “God, you’re gross” he laughed as she
finally stopped attacking him and started giggling.

    Jess brought over 2
steaming mugs of hot tea and the 4 of them continued to chat away for another
hour until Rachel’s eyelids drooped. Yawning, she made her apologies and bade
them goodnight but not before Luc dazzled her again with one of his killer
dimpled grins.

    “Sleep tight Rachel
– thanks for the tea.” He winked at her and Rachel felt it all the way
from her toes to the top of her head. Her face flooded with heat as she turned
and left them gossiping at the table, and she wondered if perhaps Luc was
flirting a little bit with her. To her surprise, Rachel discovered that she
didn’t mind at all.

Soon it would be their first
Easter without Nate, and traditionally Bank Holidays had always been a time for
them to get together and do family stuff.   This year, Rachel thought it would be a good idea to go out for lunch
rather than suffer through painful memories of past family celebrations in the
house. Dinner at home would be traumatic for her and the girls and whilst she
really didn’t feel guilty for having her fun thoughts about Luc, she wasn’t
ready to have him replace Nate at the head of the family dinner table.

    So after much deliberation, Rachel
booked the Riverside Restaurant at The Savoy. The luxurious hotel was somewhere
she had always wanted to go with Nate, especially the famous American Bar, but
they had never got to go. In a way she surmised, this would be a good thing as
there
