beers.”
As I go to turn around, Jaxon’s voice grabs my
attention.
“Tessa?”
I turn to look at him, “Yes.”
“I think you should stick to beer tonight, too. You
know, just in case you get lucky,” he says, grinning at me.
I smile and shake my head in humor before turning
back around to get their drinks. I approach the bar and ask Mikey for two
Heinekens in a bottle. Piper comes up next to me and places her tray down on
the bar.
“Who are the hunks you just started serving?”
“The dark haired guy is Ryan and the blond is Jaxon
Wyatt, Ryder’s brother.”
“No fucking way. He is sexy.”
“And off limits, I call dibs for the night,” I say,
nudging her shoulder.
She huffs as she slams a hand down on the bar,
“This sucks. Well, I get his hot friend then.”
We both laugh at how ridiculous we sound.
“They’ll be at Dave’s tonight and I told Jaxon I’d
show him around.”
“I’m sure you will,” she winks, and leaves to go
back into the kitchen.
I smile at the thought of spending the evening with
Jaxon. He’s incredibly good-looking, funny, and I was instantly attracted to
him.
This is going to be a fun night.
*****
We get to the party a little after midnight. I can
hear the music blaring from down the street. Being the responsible drinkers we
are, Piper and I took a taxi to the party. We both plan on getting drunk so
we’ll either crash at Dave’s house, or take a taxi home.
I’m dressed in a short denim skirt and black lace
tank top. It fits my skin like a glove and shows off my best asset, my tits. I
have short wedge sandals on to give me a little height, and my hair still looks
great from styling it before work.
Piper is in skintight skinny jeans and a midriff
showing top. Her long blonde hair is down and styled straight. Piper is tall
and skinny; she looks like a runway model.
When we get to Dave’s, his lawn is covered in beer
bottles and red solo cups, and I can see two people hooking up against the side
of his house.
“It looks like we need to play catch up,” Piper
chirps from beside me. Her eyes are watching the free show on the side of the
house.
“I plan on getting caught up, quickly. Let’s go
drink,” I say, as I grab her hand and pull her towards the front door.
We go into the house and there is barely room to
walk. The front room’s been made into the dance floor. With the loud music and
alcohol flowing, I see people dry humping at every angle. I push my way through
the front room and into the kitchen to pour a drink. As I’m approaching the
tequila, I see Jaxon talking to a few people near the keg. He’s smiling, and I
can’t help the instant butterflies I feel in my stomach. He really is dreamy
looking. Why he’s in this shit hole town, and not starring in some A-list movie
is beyond me.
I watch him as he pulls out his cell phone and
exchanges numbers with one of the guys. I recognize the other guy immediately.
What the hell is he talking to Jimmy for?
Jimmy, or Rocks, as everyone calls him, is a nice
enough guy. He’s never given me any problems, but something about him rubs me
the wrong way. He’s also known on campus for being able to hook you up with
whatever pharmaceuticals you need. Maybe that’s why I don’t like him. Piper
hangs out with him every once in awhile, but they’re not friends. She loves to
make that perfectly clear.
I finally pull my eyes away from him and start
making my drink. I grab two red cups and fill them halfway with vodka, and the
rest of the way with fruit punch. Then I grab two shot glasses, pour in the
tequila, and grab two sliced limes and a saltshaker. I hand the cups to Piper
while I hold the shot glasses in one hand, and the sliced limes and saltshaker
in the other hand. We walk over to the corner of the kitchen and I set
everything on the counter.
“Ready for an unforgettable, yet hopefully
forgettable night?” I ask Piper.
She laughs, “You do know that statement makes no
sense.”
“It
