humphed, crossing her arms over her chest. “How bad do you think the porch will be to fix?”
“I think the whole damn thing is going to need to be replaced.” Meg groaned but didn’t say anything. I knew she loved that damn porch, and it sucked the fucking Assassins blew the damn thing up. “We’ll get it fixed, babe, and have you back to drinking coffee on it every morning.”
“Good. I’d also like to live in my house again, not just drop by once a week to pick up clothes.” I knew living at the clubhouse was wearing thin for everyone, but we didn’t have a choice. We never knew when the Assassins would strike next.
“Soon.” I grabbed her hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it.
Something had to give with the Assassins. We just had to figure out their weakness.

Chapter 5
Meg
I was out of coffee. How in the hell did that happen?
“Babe, what the fuck are you doing?”
I had left Lo on the porch and wandered into the house hoping to make a pot of coffee and wallow in my porch troubles. Lo was right, it was a total loss. Fucking Assassins.
I banged the cabinet door shut and leaned against the counter. This day was sucking ass, and it wasn’t even half over. “I’m out of coffee,” I mumbled.
Lo pressed his body against my back and wrapped his arms around me. “You need me to run to the store to get some?”
I leaned my head back and rested it on his shoulder. How the hell did I get so lucky to find this man? I already had two cups of coffee, and I really didn’t need any more, but he was more than willing to run to the store for me. “No, I’ll survive. I’ll pick some up the next time I grocery shop for the house.”
“There might be something else that could replace your coffee for the day.”
“Oh yeah, and what would that be?”
He brushed his lips against my ear and a shiver ran through my body. “I seem to remember you wondering what my beard would feel like in other places,” he growled, trailing kisses down my neck and all thoughts of coffee flew out the window.
“Hmm, you did say you’ve been missing our big bed.” I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck. He pressed me against the counter, grabbing the hem of my shirt and tugged it over my head.
“I’ve missed having you all to myself.” He reached around, unhooking my bra and tossed it on the floor. His green eyes darkened with desire, and he licked his lips. “I still can’t believe you’re all mine, babe.”
I delved my fingers into his hair and arched my back as he sucked a nipple into his mouth and flicked it with his tongue. “I’m always yours, Lo. No matter where we are.”
“I know. It’s just nice that I can strip you naked whenever I want when we’re at your house.”
“Except when Remy is home,” I laughed, pushing him back. “How about we take this to the bed?” I suggested.
He leaned in, nuzzling my neck. “I like the way you think.” He pressed a kiss to my lips then hoisted me over his shoulders and headed to the bedroom.
“You’re going to give yourself a hernia one day if you keep lifting me. I was not made for lifting.” He tossed me on the bed and crawled up and covered me with his body.
“You know what happens when you put yourself down, babe. That pretty little ass of yours meets my hand, and I spank all that bullshit out of your head.” He leaned back and popped open the button of my jeans.
“Watch your head,” I warned as I looked at the fan blades whoosh past his head. We both loved the big bed, the only problem was that it was so tall, that the fan was capable of taking your head off if you weren’t careful.
“I got it.” He worked my pants down my legs and tossed them on the floor. “There’s only one head you should be worrying about right now,” he winked.
“Cheesy, Lo. So cheesy,” I laughed.
He leaned down, pressing kisses to the inside of my legs and a shiver ran through my body as he rubbed his scruff against
