“I surmise from his attitude he knows who I’m supposed to be,” Jess said a bit tartly.
    Troy turned to face her.
“He knows who you are. And in time, you will know it as well,” Troy said tersely. “Come.”
Troy turned to go through the automatic doors again. She followed resentfully. Jess felt that he had used the word ‘come’ an inordinately number of times. She was beginning to see a dictatorial side of him. Sooner or later they would clash in that regard. She wondered who would reign as victorious after the skirmish.

Troy traveled through a maze of corridors. They finally entered a lift that transported them several floors above the level of the Bridge. The doors opened and Troy walked several more feet to another door. He passed his hand over a small square display panel that was green in coloring. The door slid open to the left. Troy gestured for her to precede him inside. Jess walked into the room and gasped at the lavish luxury. The sofas, chairs, desk, bed, lamps and décor all spoke to her every comfort. The muted lighting was soft and cozy. The primary color of tan was used for the sofas and chairs. While the pops of orange and yellow accessories were warm and inviting. The desk was femininely delicate in design yet quite sturdy. It held every electronic device she may want to use. She finally turned to look at the massive bed. It was big enough to sleep at least four people. She probably would get lost in it. Troy led her to the bathroom that was a woman’s delight. The jetted spa tub was incredible. Jess couldn’t wait to relax in its depths. There were sweetly scented bath oils, salts and gels. She selected a bottle of bath salts and lifted it to her nose. She breathed deeply of the vanilla fragrance and smiled. She turned to Troy who had been watching her closely.
“This is heavenly. I can’t wait to take a bath,” she sighed.
Troy could see her slender naked body relaxing in the tub. He saw her raise her shapely leg and glide the sponge along its length. He shook his head and gripped the door jamb tightly to control his desires. Jess did not realize the effect she had on him; she never had. And this was not the time to lose sight of his duty.
“I shall leave to allow you to experience the luxurious bathroom. I am glad it is to your liking,” he said.
“Liking? I love it,” she grinned.
“I will leave you to it then,” he said as he turned to leave.
    “Troy,” she called after him.
He reluctantly turned to face her.
“Yes,” he said a bit abruptly.
“May we talk after I have bathed?” she asked timidly.
He heard the shyness in her speech and regretted his harsh tone. He gentled his voice.
“Yes, of course. Just press this button and speak. I will hear you,” he said. He indicated the red button on several of the walls.
“Alright. Thank you,” she said softly.
“Enjoy your bath, Jess,” he smiled. He then left the room.
Jess went into the bedroom and looked around for her travel bag. She didn’t see it. She crossed the room and opened what must be the closet and was again flabbergasted. It was a walk in closet that was brimming with clothing. She wandered inside and gently touched the garments. They were of a strange design; nothing like the clothing that she wore on earth. The tunics were short with the hem cut on odd angles. Many of them were off one the shoulder, boat neckline, strapless or accompanied by thin straps. The leggings that were to be worn with the tunics were attached to the back of the hanger. Then there were the full length and short dresses. The garments were of the softest fabric she had ever felt and they glittered of vibrant colors. She looked everywhere in the closet but didn’t see her own clothes. She wondered what could have happened to them. Jess shrugged. She would ask Troy about it when she spoke to him later. For now she would make a selection from this fine array of apparel. Jess selected a shimmering blue
