beginning of a new start for her and Duke. Things were looking up already for Grace Adams.
The evening was so cool Hunter and Brody had decided to have dinner on the patio. Hunter had opened a bottle of wine for her, while he and Brody had a beer with their steak and potatoes they had thrown on the barbecue. The conversation flowed amongst the three of them. Brody and Hunter had gone over her duties that were to be done around the house. Grace was also told that her shift at the bar and grill would start in a couple days so she could relax around the house tomorrow to familiarize herself in her new surroundings.
After dinner, they all helped clean the dishes in the kitchen. Hunter, Grace, and Brody took their drinks and sat in the comfortable chairs surrounding the fire pit.
Grace was so happy. She watched as Duke sat in the grass chewing on a steak bone that Brody had given him. “Duke seems to be content with his treat.” She peered at Hunter then Brody and said, “Thank you so much for today. I’m so lucky to have such trusting men as yourselves who want to take a chance on a stranger such as myself.”
Hunter stood from his chair and watched her as she sat in the chair next to him. “We needed you as much as you needed a place to stay and the waitress job. It just seemed like destiny was in your favor, Grace.”

Brody sat next to her and couldn’t help but stare at her from the corner of his eye when she wasn’t looking. She was so beautiful. Brody fully understood what Hunter was saying about Grace coming into their bar. She was brought to them by some unknown force. All it took was a sign in the window and a little help from God. Now they would be living and working with a beautiful woman that they were both sexually attracted to.
Brody and Hunter had talked earlier when she was unpacking the few things she had with her. They both agreed that they would like to get to know her better. Hunter and Brody were both physically attracted to her, but didn’t want to push her into a relationship too soon. How was it possible after just meeting someone in one day that they would even consider starting a relationship with her? One reason, he had never encountered such a strong connection with anyone ever in his life like he had the moment he met Grace.
She had mentioned very little about her ex-fiancé, and why they had broken off their engagement. It was obvious that she wasn’t ready to open up to strangers about what she was running away from. They would press for answers in the future. Grace had to learn to trust them and know that she could confide in them about anything. Brody just wanted to coddle her and comfort her the way a woman should be treated.
“Brody, are you okay? You seem a little quiet over there,” she said with a concerned look on her face.
He was amazed by how compassionate she was. “Nothing’s wrong, Grace. Everything is going to be perfect for Hunter and me now that you are going to be around to help make our lives easier,” Brody said with a big smile on his face. She seemed so sweet and sincere. The more they talked and got to know her, the more they agreed that they were happy at the turn of events that had changed all their lives in one day .
Hunter gathered his beer bottle from the side table and said, “Well, I have some paperwork to finish up in the office. So I will be saying good night to you both, and I’ll see you in the morning. Good night, Grace.” Hunter then leaned over to kiss her on the cheek.
“Yes, it’s been a long day. I think I’ll be going to bed now, too, sweetie.” Brody then got up from his chair to lean over to place a soft kiss on her cheek as well.

“It’s so quiet and peaceful out here. I think I’ll stay out here for a bit. Good night.” She watched as the two handsome men walked inside the kitchen and out of view. Their home was so welcome and inviting. Everywhere Grace had lived, she never found her
