âUh-oh!â Then the shiny stuff fell off. It was foil.
Sean stopped. âHey, I thought it was real.â
âHa!â Octa-Loona smirked. âToys are no match for me. Hereâs something real for you!â
THWACK! Sean was hurled back onto the bed of spikes from Torture, Anyone? Luckily, the spikes were made of rubber.
âSheâs winning!â yelled Holly. She dashed across the hangar and came running back with the giant hairy hand from Paâs Hairy Paws!
âOh, want to shake?â Octa-Loona snarled. âWell, okay, letâs!â
THWANK! One tentacle snapped around Hollyâs arms and lifted her into the air. Then it began to shake her up!
âSto-aaa-ooo-aaa-oop!â moaned Holly as the hairy paw dropped to the floor and a tentacle snapped it away across the room.
âOh, now youâre going to get it!â cried Liz from the kitchen set of Tiny Folks Fight Big. She grabbed an enormous pair of scissors.
âOh, a cutup, are you?â snorted Octa-Loona. âDidnât anyone tell you thatâs dangerous?â
âHa!â Liz snarled back. âIâm just going to even up the sides!â The blades opened as Liz charged.
âGe-etttt herrrr, Lizzzz!â shouted Holly, still being shaken around above the queenâs head.
Holly was amazed at how her friends battled the evil queen. Just like in the movies, they were everywhere, fighting, making incredible moves.
Thwing! Thwong! The octopus queen swung around and faced Liz. A tentacle twirled out and grabbed Liz tightly by her ankles.
âNo!â Liz strained as she was hoisted high above the ugly woman.
âSorry,â said Liz, squirming toward Holly. âI tried.â
Holly smiled at her. It didnât look good for them, but she knew what she and her friends had to do. Bottom line. Stop Octa-Loona and her pet. Because if they didnât, the slimy queen would slither off to another town. Gigantopus would wreck it. Then another and another.
Planet after planet! Galaxy after galaxy!
No way! They had to stop this now. Here. On the galactic battlefield known as Groverâs Mill!
âUgh!â grunted Holly, trying to squirm out of the tentaclesâ grasp. âGot ⦠to ⦠free ⦠ourselves!â
No good. She was caught.
Thwang! Another of Octa-Loonaâs slithery tentacles grabbed Mike by his foot. âSheâs got me!â he cried. âIt feels creepy on my leg!â
Thwip! Thwap! Sean and Jeff were caught as they tried to pelt her with rubber brains from the set of Whose Brain Is This, Anyway?
âOoooh, yesssss!â the octopus woman wailed. âPuny two-armed humans! I have you all!â Her three remaining tentacles twirled up to her lips. Then she let out a high-pitched whistle. âEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!â
âNice sound effects!â said Holly, struggling against the slimy suction pads. âBut you canât keep us up here forever!â
âI could!â Octa-Loona blurted out. âBut Iâve got other fish to fry! Get it? And anywayââ
YEEEOOWW! A shocking sound pierced the studio from outside and the front hangar door ripped off its hinges.
Enormous Gigantopus himself crashed inside the studio. His tentacles flailed and slapped!
âMy ride is here!â Octa-Loona cried out, clapping with her free tentacles. Thenâ thump! thump! thump! (five thumps, actually) she hurled the kids across the room.
Through the open hangar door, Holly saw the destruction Gigantopus had left in Groverâs Mill. The water tower was down. The WYRD radio tower was crumpled. Slime was everywhere.
âAnd now, to finish our plan!â cried Octa-Loona.
âWhy do aliens always have to have plans?â snarled Holly. She was feeling very angry.
âWhy do humans always need to know?â Octa-Loona snapped back. âBesides, youâll find out when the time is
