doing?”
    “Calling Ryder,”
“ Noooooo,” I slur, and top it off with a hiccup.
She runs off into the crowd, and I am too drunk to stand and chase her. I feel my eyes blur and close, they don’t open again until I am being carried out. Hmmmm Ryder, I can smell him.
    “Fuc k Sandy…why didn’t you stop her?”
“Really Ryder? Surely you know her better than that; nobody stops Maya if she doesn’t want to be stopped.”
    “Get a cab.”
I open my eyes and peer up at Ryder, “Ryder, I love you.”
He stares d own at me, his aqua eyes narrow. “You are drunk. You smell like tequila.”
    “I love you though.”
He rolls his eyes and shoves me into the cab, then gives the driver the hotel name. When we arrive back, he lifts me out and carries me up to the room. I don’t know how he does it; I know I must be a dead weight right now.
    “What the hell happened?”
I hear Nate’s voice, and I shuffle out of Ryder’s arms. Nate takes one look at me, and his face scrunches up.
“Don’t you ask what’s wrong you…asssshole,” I slur, pointing a wobbly finger at him.
    “Wow, she is drunk.”
“Fuck you Nate, I hate you, I hate you…”
His face falls, “You don’t mean that.”
“Of course s he doesn’t,” Ryder snaps, “She’s pissed.”
Ryder doesn’t wait for Nate to answer; he just scoops me back up and kicks the door to our room open. When he manages to shut it behind him, he walks over and deposits me onto the bed. I giggle and roll, landing with a thump on the floor.
    “Fuck.”
Ryder leans down and wraps his hands around my shoulders, shaking me a little, “Enough, get into bed.”
“I want a shower, oh, let’s go use the spa!” I cry, clapping.
    “Let’s not; bed.”
I pout and he gives me a grin, flicking my bottom lip, “Don’t pout at me, we will play tomorrow.”
    “ Bully.”
He strips me and tucks me into bed, sitting beside me and stroking my h air. “It’s all going to be ok baby, I got you, I’ve always got you.”

CHAPTER 2
    RYDER
I hear her groan from the bedroom and I feel a grin spread across my face. Yep, that is going to hurt, so it should too, will teach her for drowning half a bottle of tequila.
“Morning sunshine, ” I yell out.
I hear her grumble again, and curse, before slamming the bathroom door. Hung-over women, they truly are a pleasure. When she comes out half an hour later, my grin widens. Even hung over she is beautiful, like a tiny pixie compared to me. I love her honey colored hair and the way it tumbles down her back. Her features are tiny, and damned beautiful. I can smell her lavender shampoo mixed with her perfume.
“Hey beautiful, ” I grin up at her.
“Don’t you hey beautiful me,” s he pouts, plonking down onto my lap. She fits just perfectly, my body fits around hers like she is my missing puzzle piece, “I have a headache.”
    “I’ll bet you do.”
She nuzzles her nose into my neck. “Why do you always smell so damned good Ryder?”
    “It’s just good genetics.”
She laughs; the sound is like a soft melody, “Good genetics, I was going for good aftershave.”
I chuckle and kiss her cheeks.
    “You hungry?”
“ Hmmmm, yes, I am not one of those people who can’t eat after drinking. I am the opposite, I become a total fatty.”
    “Fatty hey?”
“Yep, you will be rolling me right back up those stairs.”
I grin and bring her lips down on mine, they are soft, silky and she tastes like mint. I part her lips with my tongue, sliding it into her mouth until she is letting off soft little moans and pressing her chest to mine. Her soft breasts crushing up against me is really not the best way to start the morning; we won’t leave the room if she keeps it up.
“You better stop now baby, or I will fuck you right here on the balcony.”
She grins and kisses my neck, “I might enjoy that.”
“Breakfast first, I can’t let you starve.”
“I can think of plenty of things I would like in my mouth
