    Still, there was no use fretting over it now. She’d had enough time to change clothes and put a little make-up on to enhance her eyes. Mr. Hines’ face had lit up when she walked out. She’d made a point of telling him she was meeting her boyfriend. He’d just snorted and watched her like a hawk. She’d mentioned her boyfriend more than once in front of him.
