closer and closer into a heated frenzy. “I…it feels good.”
“Good is not enough,” he said. “I aim for extraordinary.”
“What does extraordinary entail exactly?”
“Would you rather I tell you or show you?”
Tanya looked up, regarding him ca refully.
He arched a thick and perfect eyebrow.
Was he serious? This was all too easy. But it felt right. And scandalous. She answered him with a kiss, taking his mouth with the same urgent need he’d done with her.
“Back at the store yesterday…” She panted in between kisses, pausing to meet his tongue in dance. “I did you a favor.”
“How can I forget…?”
“How did you say it…would you mind helping me with something?” she asked, shyly.
“Of course,” he said, devilishly.
“Make me forget what normal feels like.” She couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth.
“Let me guess. You’re recently single. Had a bad split with your ex, and you’re feeling adventurous with your newly found freedom. Adventurous and...ready for someone wilder.”
Damn, he sure wasn’t one to hold back what he was thinking.
“Something like that.” The truth was her situation was exactly like that. He’d read her like the legend on a map. He understood well what she wanted. “Well…can you do that?”
“Only if you come with me. You and I, alone . I’ll make it worth your while.”
“I…” Tanya bit into her lip. She needed to take this risk. Wanted what he offered. Sex. Wanted him. Danger and intrigue. And that scared her. Damn, maybe she just needed one good fucking and then she could go back to her life where men like Marcus didn’t exist and where encounters like this would never happen. Not to her, at least.
“I can take you up against the wall right here.” He ground his erection into her pelvis. “Or I could take you up against the wall back in my room.”
The first offer was tempting and dangerous. Sure, she wanted him and wanted him now, but she needed more than a quick romp. The second offer was what she needed. Plus she wanted to see all of his beautiful skin. She wanted him completely naked.
Without further hesitation, she took his hand, dragged him back down the hall in the direction they came, through the thick crowd of bodies, and out onto the sidewalk into the humid Jamaican night.
Tanya was surprised at how quick a taxi pulled up to the sidewalk when Marcus hailed it down. Inside, she was partly relieved that the ride came so quickly. At least, she didn’t have a chance to back out. And even if she tried to, the smooth talking Marcus would probably convince her otherwise. The way he clutched her hand possessively, kneading the inside of her palm, made her feel giddy with excitement and lust.
As the driver pulled off, leaving all her reservations behind at the club, her heart beat wildly in her chest as she contemplated what lay ahead with the dark and mysterious man beside her.
Chapter Three
“How long have you been staying here?” Tanya asked just as the taxi driver pulled up at the front door of the resort where Marcus was staying.
Marcus pulled a couple of crisp bills from his wallet. “I arrived just yesterday.”
“My hotel is across the street.” She wondered why she even offered up so much detail. He was still a stranger. A stranger that she planned to have sex with.
“Nice coincidence.” He grinned. “I’m not surprised though. It’s a popular spot. Both hotels are rated six stars. In close proximity to the beach, night clubs, and shopping. More proof that you have great taste.”
Before she could say another word, the taxi driver opened the door for them and ushered them outside. As soon as they climbed into the elevator, Marcus pulled her into his chest and stole another kiss, rendering her senseless.
“Wait…” She pulled apart, but his lips remained on her face, raining kisses across her chin. “Do you do this often?”
“Do what?”
The dial on the elevator continued to
