    “That’s the idea. Shall I show you to your room?”

    Sigh. “Just cleaning up. Come upstairs, then I can make you a hot
drink.”
    Stella winced at the creak of every step and tried not to focus on the
plaster still drying on the walls. Niels had a specific vision
