was laughing along with her.
“So that’s the only reason you’re not going to give her what she wants, because you’re afraid you won’t be able to perform?” she teased, giving him chaste kisses every so often.
“Don’t underestimate my powers.” He laughed.
She slid her slick folds down his shaft.
“Hell, it’s not even the biggest reason.”
“Hmm, then what is?”
Brad wrapped his arms around her and rolled them over so he was on top of her. “You, Victoria. You’re the reason. I’ve realized I don’t want anyone but you.”
“Brad—” His name came out on a whoosh of expelled breath. Had he just made a commitment to her? Was he saying he wanted to be exclusive? It was times like this when his vague way of talking made her to want him to expand, explain further and clearer. Why couldn’t he just come out and say what he means?
“Shh.” He placed his finger to her lips. “Don’t over analyze what I just said.” He smiled. Her heart sank in a weight of spiraling confusion. So it wasn’t a commitment. She should’ve known better. She wasn’t good enough for him. She knew it. “I meant it, Victoria. I only want to be with you, and I have no intentions of seeking out anyone else, especially not Peyton. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to be putting a ring on your finger, either.”
She let out a short laugh. “No one ever said anything about a ring.” He was obviously clueless about all the in-between stages of a relationship, but that was okay. She could teach him what she wanted if he allowed her to.
“Good. So we’re in agreement that me being with Peyton will never happen.”
“Yes.” She smiled and gently kissed him.
“And we’re in agreement that you won’t let Drake or anyone else touch you again, right?” He scowled.
Jealous Brad was a sight to behold. It was something she didn’t see from him very often, but damn, it was intense and hot and a tad scary. She loved him. She really did. “Yes,” she said, “we’re in agreement about that, too.” She giggled.
“Good because you’re mine, Victoria, and I’ve told you before, I don’t share.”
She ran her thumb across his oh so perfect lips and smiled softly. “Trust me, Brad, you don’t have to share me. I’m all yours.”
“Fucking right you are,” he snarled before crushing her mouth with a hard, dominant kiss. Knowing they were having a tender moment, she expected to be annoyed with his sudden change to the rough dominance, but she wasn’t. It never failed to turn her on, to turn her into mush in his arms, to know that she could give herself up completely to let him do to her things she once only thought were a dream. Her mind and body responded to every version of Brad Grayson, and she was powerless to stop it. She didn’t want to. She wanted to be everything for him, including his wealth and power that he so desperately needed.
CHAPTER 4
Brad had no idea in hell where this possessive need to claim her came from. He’d never felt this way before, never wanted to rage and kill at the mere thought of another man touching a woman he’d been with.
Victoria was different. He would just have to make sure he kept her happy so she didn’t feel like she had to go elsewhere or turn to anyone else to satisfy her needs. Brad could—and would—give her everything she ever wanted. Money, cars, the best wardrobe, possessions, comfort, security, and even his body whenever she wanted it. He could give all of that to her without question. His trust and his heart, though, were a different story. Unfortunately, it was those two things Victoria wanted, and it would be those two things that would cause her to leave if she didn’t get them. He knew this more now than ever.
Pushing her onto her back, he moved down the length of her body, kissing her breasts, her stomach. Her skin was so soft, smooth and delicate, exactly what he loved about a woman. She ran her fingers through his hair, massaging his
