need someone to lean on once in a while. You shouldn't be ashamed to ask for that every now and then."
Bradley stared at her. Cassidy began to wonder if she had applied her makeup wrong again.
"You're good for my ego." He murmured.
"Don't get too used to it." Cassidy teased, giving him a grin.
Bradley grinned back and he seemed to relax. They ate in silence for a while, Cassidy wolfing down her food. She hadn't realized she was so hungry. Bradley finished his plate as Cassidy tackled her eggs and the mushrooms, pushing his plate away and sitting back in his chair.
"So, what's on the cards for today?"
Cassidy swallowed her mouthful and tried not to stare at him. Sitting there, one arm over the back of the chair and giving her a suggestive look, wearing a simple navy sweater and jeans that seemed to cling to every contour of his body, the man looked good enough to eat.
Her body was going into overdrive. Cassidy wished she had used her vibrator that morning but it probably wouldn't have taken the edge off.
"Not much." She realized she sounded breathless and coughed. "Carry on as usual and you pick a time in the day where we can have the session."
"What will you do while I'm carrying on as normal?"
"Getting on with some work." Cassidy reached for her coffee. "That can be dealt with while I'm here."
    Bradley raised his eyebrows.
"Why should you be working? Why not make the most of your time here. I have a pool, a gym and a library. You could use them at your leisure."
Cassidy was tempted. She loved to read and she loved to swim. The gym she might avoid; they weren't her favourite places. But she did need to get her paperwork sorted before she went back to the real world.
"I am a professional and I still need to work." She looked at him over her coffee cup. "A month goes a lot quicker than you think. I can't slack all the time."
Bradley grinned. Suddenly his eyes seemed to glow.
"Trust me, with me around, you won't be slacking."

    "Cassidy?"
Cassidy looked up from the book in her lap. Ron stood in the doorway to the library. She straightened up.
    "Mr Evas."
"Come on, call me Ron." Ron smiled, the smile reaching his eyes. He entered the room and nodded in the direction of Bradley's office. "How's it going with the boss today?"
Cassidy sighed and closed her book. The words had been running together for the past half hour and she hadn't even got past the first page. And it was because of that infuriating man who had hired her personally for the month.
"He's frustrating as hell." She declared. "I swear, he doesn't want to compromise on anything."
It wasn't that she hadn't had difficult clients before. But Bradley certainly came under one of the worst. He didn't respond much, if at all, to the exercises she gave him and he acted like a petulant child. He was grumpy and Cassidy was as patient as she could be but he just wouldn't accommodate anything to help.
When he wasn't grumpy, he was trying to flirt with her and that had played havoc with Cassidy's head. Whether he was flirting with her because she was a woman or because he genuinely found her attractive, she didn't know but it wasn't helping. Cassidy had been out of sorts since their first session.
Three days into their month-long interaction and they hadn't got anywhere at all. They had not made even the slightest dent in controlling his anger.
"He doesn't like being told what to do." Ron looked sympathetic.
"I've noticed." Cassidy grunted. She rubbed her hands over her face with a sigh. "He also doesn't like talking about his past."
"It is a very touchy subject."
"I know that but if he opened up it would help a lot with his treatment."
Cassidy was sure his parents' deaths were at the center of things and why he was so angry all the time. But if he kept it inside it was going to fester and Cassidy's efforts would be futile.
"It'll take time to get that." Ron said grimly. "And it's time he doesn't
