    Sadness flittered across Kyr’s face. It was brief, but she saw it. “I’m sorry.” She truly was. Absentmindedly, she moved the lock of hair from his forehead to the side. “So you’re in a bind. I am, too.” That was true. Having a baby had never crossed her mind. Getting married wasn’t even in her short list. She couldn’t even cook.
