good at it.” He sighed. “She even looks good doing it.”
“She is so fucking sexy. And the fact that she has no idea of how appealing she is only makes her more gorgeous.”
“Yeah, she is,” Ward agreed with Stedman. “That curvy little body of hers could tempt a saint to sin.”
“And when she concentrates real hard, the tip of her tongue peeks out from between her lips. I can just imagine…” Bronsin’s voice trailed off.
Ward groaned and adjusted his aching cock. “Don’t even go there, man.”
“Sorry.” Bronsin shifted his own dick, as did Stedman.
The sound of light footsteps had Ward looking toward the door. Alicia appeared seconds later. She had her robe wrapped tightly around her small, sexy body.
Bronsin beat him to her side. “How are you feeling, darlin’?”
“I’m okay, but my hand is hurting. I need a glass of water so I can take the pain pills Wolf gave me.”
“Sit down, Alicia. I’ll get your water.” Ward retrieved a glass and filled it from the jug in the fridge and then took the pill bottle from the counter and popped the top.
    “Here you go, honey.”
Alicia took the two pills he placed in her hand and swallowed them down with the water.
“Do you want some coffee, baby?” Stedman asked.
“No thanks, but could I please have something to eat? I’m kind of hungry.”
“No wonder, honey. You missed out on lunch. Martha sent over some for you.”
“I don’t want anything too heavy, it’s nearly dinnertime. Maybe just a sandwich will tide me over.”
Ward made her a roast beef sandwich with mustard and, after she had finished, suggested she might like a shower.
“I would love a shower. I’m feeling kind of grungy. I wanted to wash my hair, but I don’t know how to keep my hand dry.”
“I’ll wrap your hand up in a plastic bag and tape it so no water can get in.” Stedman went to get the bag and tape.
“Thanks.” Alicia headed back down the hall.
“I’ll give you a hand, honey.” Ward followed.
“Uh, I’ll manage.” She turned to face him as he entered her room.
“You don’t have to manage, Alicia. I am going to help you.”
Ward entered the bathroom, turned on the shower, and checked the temperature. He pulled off his sweater and T-shirt and placed them on the counter. The chance to begin wooing Alicia was too good to pass up. She was so compassionate and sexy, he wanted to hold her and love her, but he wasn’t about to force the issue. Maybe if she saw him naked she would begin to feel an attraction toward him. He wasn’t conceited, but he knew his body was toned. Hopefully she wouldn’t be able to take her eyes off of him. Not once since Alicia had been here had she shown any sort of interest in him and his brothers, but she was also very adept at hiding her emotions most of the time. He figured she’d learned that ability from growing up with so many strangers. His hands were on his belt when she came in.
    “WhWhat are you doing?”
“I’m going to help you shower.”
    “Why are you getting undressed?”
“I don’t want to get my clothes wet. Look, honey, I just want to make sure you don’t hurt your hand or slip. You can’t wash your hair properly with only one hand.”
    “I will manage.”
“Why do that when I can help you?” Ward waited for her to decide what she was going to do. If she wanted him to leave he would, but he was going to stand outside the bathroom door until she was done. She frowned and bit her lip while she decided what she wanted, but either way he was staying close by.
    “Okay. You can help me.”
“Good girl. You don’t have to be embarrassed with me, honey. I just want to make sure you don’t do any more damage to that hand.”
She unknotted her robe, and Ward drew it over her arms. She looked up at him from beneath lowered eyelashes, and her face began to turn a pink hue.
“Um, I’m going to need help to unclip my bra.”
“Turn around, honey,” Ward said and then deftly undid the
