Earth and contacting certain people in secret in hopes that they would awaken their race to the truth about themselves and the universe as a whole. If we fail to stop the Draconan Empire here in this galaxy and they head to Earth to wipe out the humans there, there won’t be any humans left to survive. We know the Draconans feed off human flesh and the human spirit. Yet the people of Earth have the potential to evolve and fend for themselves against a race as dangerous as the Draconans.
“So I ask those of you who have been assisting with Earth’s evolution not to stop. The consequences could be far more dangerous if you do. Thank you,” he finished then took his seat.
“Thank you Jonathan. Members of the council, I now ask you to vote on this matter,” she said.
Everyone bowed their heads and telepathically decided on the best course of action for Andromeda.
“It has been decided. It appears there are a few in this room who still agree with you Jonathan but it is not enough, for the majority has decided to focus our efforts on the war here in this system. I am sorry, my friend. I understand your reasoning but the decision has been made. This council meeting is now adjourned,” the Oracle said.
Wolf was disappointed but not surprised. The Draconans were a very advanced race and very hard to defeat. Other systems have fallen to the Draconans in centuries past. Where they came from exactly no one knows except that they were a reptilian species that were twice the size of humans and other species.
As Wolf and his friends made their way out of the council hall, the Oracle stopped them before leaving.
“May I have a word, Jonathan?” she asked politely.
“Of course,” he answered.
“Even though the council has decided, I am granting you permission to go and observe the people on Earth as they try to evolve, if you so desire. But you are to leave the suit here with your friend Peter. You are not to get emotionally involved with anyone. You are to report back to me what you discover. Because you are still young, I do not want you to assist them in their evolutionary process yet until I say otherwise.
“There are two people on Earth, I have been told by a few Andromeda members, who are accepting humans from other planets and providing them sanctuary on Earth so that they may continue on with their mission; Sam Caldwell and Justin Gait. I have been assured that they are trustworthy and they can help you,” the Oracle smiled.
“If I may, I’d like to ask Peter Stone to accompany me. He might be of some help understanding Earth’s cultures.”
“Not on this mission. He must remain on this planet to guard the suit until you return.”
“I understand. Thank you, Oracle,” he said.
“Good luck. You have always been a good friend to me and a wise person,” she said and then left down the hallway.
Chapter 8
Jonathan Wolf didn’t feel entirely comfortable with the situation he found himself in. He was a little nervous to say the least.
After arriving on Earth and finding a safe place to land, he began his search for Colonel Caldwell whom the Oracle recommend he speak with before beginning his mission. Finally, after several days, his search came to end and he found himself at Nellis Air Force base.
He sat there in the room patiently with his hands folded on the table. He was confident he had made the right decision meeting someone who was familiar with a human from another world but was still a bit on edge. If the Oracle was right and Colonel Sam Caldwell could be trusted , then everything would go smoothly from here on out.
Finally, after some time had passed the door to the room opened and a man in uniform walked in.
“Are you Jonathan Wolf?” the Colonel asked closing the door behind him.
“I am,” he answered.
“I'm Colonel Sam Caldwell. United States Air Force.” There was a moment’s pause before he continued. “Are you really from another galaxy Mr. Wolf?”
“Are your
