eyebrow . She picked up the daintiest, most slender plug they had and handed it to him.
“I don’t think so,” he said, picking out a butt plug that was about three times the size . It started small but got bigger before narrowing again right before the wide flared base. “This is more like it.”
    “No way,” Candy said.
“Yes way. You’ll like this one better, I’m sure of it.”
Candy giggled nervously and nodded . “Okay.”
He picked up some silk scarves, fur lined hand cuffs and a paddle and handed them to the cashier along with the vibrating wand and butt plug .
Dave had been thinking about all the things he wanted to do to Candy for the past two days . Now he was going to have her all to himself—and once he had her securely bound, he could take his time doing whatever he could think of to bring her pleasure.
Carrying the packages out to the waiting car, Dave eyed Candy appreciatively and caressed her ass through the tight dark denim. He couldn’t help himself—she had such an amazing curvy figure. “We’re gonna have fun this weekend.”
Candy smiled at him in response.
“Did anyone ever tell you how pretty you look when you smile like that?” he asked.
She raised her eyebrows at him. “You don’t need a pick-up line. I already told you I’d go.”
Shit. “It wasn’t meant to be a pick up line. I was just…letting you know. I like your smile.”
    “Oh. Well, thanks then.”
Dave laughed at his own idiocy. She was different from the other girls, and the groupies. Now he had to figure out how to show her there was more to him than just being a rocker. Especially since she was coming to his show.
“You’ve never seen me in concert, right?” he asked.
“Nope. Sorry.” She paused and bit her lower lip. “But I’m excited to see you and your band play, for sure.”
    “Cool.”
Except for the fact that before she saw him performing for a packed stadium, she’d been able to connect with him. What if she changed her mind, or started acting weird around him once she got an idea of exactly what it meant to be dating him?
Most girls didn’t like seeing all the other girls who threw themselves at him after the show. Maybe he’d been too quick to invite Candy to see him perform. It was fun getting to know her without the baggage of fame getting in the way.
    Fuck it. Too late now.

Chapter Four

Saturday night, Candy sat in the wings of the huge amphitheater where TopShelf was playing to a sold out crowd. She had gone shopping with one of her more stylish girlfriends to find something suitably hip to wear. The corset-style top made her feel almost gothic. She looked like she fit in, she supposed, but she wasn’t used to attending rock concerts, and the loud energy of the place and all the people dancing and jumping around made her feel a little out of place. Still, it was fun.
She fingered the laminated VIP pass that hung around her neck and cheered loudly as the band finished another song . The place was packed with screaming fans—but Dave was looking at her as she stood in the wings. He winked and grabbed his microphone as his band started the next rock song.
From her behind-the-scenes perch, she could see some drunk groupie pull her bra off and throw it on the stage. Dave picked it up and held it over his head triu mphantly and her heart dropped.
Of course. Lots of girls probably had the hots for him.
But he keeps looking at me. No one else. Me.
She must be dreaming . It was too crazy—was this really happening? The set ended and Dave shouted goodnight to the screaming fans. He ran offstage, kissed her hard on the mouth, and then ran back onstage to do an encore. When he ran back off again, he grinned and wiped his sweaty face with his T-shirt.
    “Let’s go, Candy.”
Candy let herself be escorted past the crowd of people to a private exit that led to a waiting town car. “Dave, that was so awesome. Thanks for inviting me.”
    “Thanks for coming,” he
