man’s writing. I eagerly tore into the contents of the jacket.

The card I pulled out sent chills of pleasure and happiness through my body. I could fell a shit-eating grin cracking my face. On the cover in black in white, two small children holding hands and laughing sat on a beach. The golden locks of the girl brushed against the brunette boy’s shoulder. Before I turned the page, I noticed a few last details. The girl had pink fingernail polish and the boy had a small guitar on his lap.

My body tingled with excitement and fear. “Did Antonio bring me here? How would he have known? Who is this man?”
I pondered as I slowly opened the card. The standard script was cute. It simply read: “Life is a Beach so share it with the one you love.”   However, the handwritten note on the left hand side captivated me:
I found you in a pool of despair inches away from death
The spirits above guided me to you
In saving you, I saved myself
I look forward to knowing you and loving you
You are the highlight of my life
    The music in my soul
    You are my greatest song
    Love Antonio.

As if on cue, I heard the rhythmic sounds of a guitar in the family room. My heart began to beat quickly. I quickly opened the door and my nose was overwhelmed with the smell of freshly cooked eggs and bacon.

“I was hoping you would awake soon.”

“But how—could you have known where I live.”

“You told me silly. Last night, you went from a passionate lover to a very sick puppy. You got very sick on the beach.”

    “How sick?”

“Lose your lunch sick,” he smiled sheepishly.

I could feel heat rush to my face, the color of crimson. “Are you serious?” I am so embarrassed. “Is that why you didn’t sleep with me last night?”

“No, it was out of respect. You are the first woman that I have wanted in seven years. I feel as though my deceased wife and the spirit world blessed our union. I did not want our first time to be when you had one to many. I wanted it to be as special as you are to me.”

I pinched myself to make sure that I wasn’t dreaming. “But I don’t smell gross or disgusting.”

“Of course not, I bathed you. By the way you have a great body.”

    “You what?” I shrilled .

“I wasn’t going to let you lay in your own sickness.” He confessed.

“Just a second,” I yelped. I ran to the bathroom my face hot with embarrassment. I quickly brushed my teeth and scrubbed them. Any man who would wash me off, tuck me into bed, get me a card, sleep in another room (out of respect), make me breakfast and wake me up to the sweet sounds of guitar was a keeper. I wanted this man more than ever, and I wasn’t going to be denied this time.

I quickly grabbed him by the face and kissed him passionately.

“My love, what has gotten into you,” he smiled.

“Well, if I had my way, you! I want my way with you” I winked. I couldn’t believe how bold I was with Antonio. He really brought out the woman in me.

    “Really!” he smiled broadly.
“Oh yes” This time I quickly ripped off the white cotton t-shirt that he had put on me the night before. His eyes opened wide as he got the full view of my bosom.

“ You are beautiful,” he whispered.

My perfect C’s mesmerized him. They were full, not too full and perky, very perky. My nipples were erect and waiting for him to finish the job we started last night.

I stood over him, slowly bending down so that one of my nipples hovered just above his mouth. He gently caressed my breast and started flicking his tongue across my nipple. The pleasure was electrifying.

“I am going to take my time with you,” Antonio directed.

“No, I want you now!” I half whined.

“Veronica, baby, let me love you. Let me really love you,” he whispered.
