other’s arms.
“Damn woman,” Cole finally said when his breathing became a little easier. “What you do to me.”
Ally giggled as she slowly lifted her head from his chest and looked down at him.
“I think you will find you have a very similar effect on me,” she said as she brushed her lips along his jaw line.
“Oh I don’t know,” he laughed. “Since the morning s ickness stopped and hormones have taken hold, you really are insatiable and very irresistible.”
“Are you complaining, Mr. Thomas?” Ally giggled.
“Oh hell no, Ms. Brody,” he laughed back. “In fact, I think I may have to keep you barefoot and pregnant. How does twelve kids sound?”
“Oh dear lord,” Ally chuckled out loud. “Let me get through this one before you plan the next one.”
“Hmm,” he said with the worst fake pout ever. “Fine.”
Ally burst out laughing, leaned down and kissed his lips.
“Maybe one more,” she smiled against his mouth.
“Good,” Cole replied with a nod. “Because we can’ t have Little Bean here being the only one, now can we.”
“No, I guess we can’t,” Ally smiled back but her smile faded when she saw the look in Cole’s eyes. She knew immediatel y he was thinking of Ben. “Cole, please call Steph. I know you miss him. Maybe if you knew he was okay.”
“I can’t Ally,” Cole replied sadly. “I promised myself I was walking away and I have to. Maybe I should n’t have given her money. Maybe if I hadn’t she would have given Ben to someone who really wanted him. What if I have made his life worse?”
“Cole you did what you thought was right,” Ally said, taking his face in her hands. “She was selling her child, which was wrong, giving her that money meant he stayed with his mom, instead of being given to the highest bidder. At least with him staying with her, you can keep an eye on him.”
“Ally, sweetheart,” Cole said looking her straight in the eyes. “I love how you feel about him. Any other woman wo uld have been glad to have him out of their life. I mean who would want the complication of a child with someone else. And you should know that better than anyone, but you only see the child. And believe me I love that about you, but I need to let him go. I can’t do it anymore.”
“I understand,” Ally said sadly. In her heart she knew he was right. That holding on was just hurting him more. But deep inside her she knew that little boy would always be part of him and she just loved him all the more for that.
“Besides,” he added with a broad smile. “I have you and Little Bean to worry about, and the eleven other kids we have to work on making. In fact I think we should start practising again.”
Without saying another word he sealed her mouth with his and rolled her over once more pinning her to the bed.

Ally lay in the darkness of the bedroom her head pressed against Cole’s bare chest. She listened to him breath e softly and to the soft drumming of his heart.
Her thoughts were filled with Ben. She knew despite what Cole had said, he was really worried about Ben. And so was she. After news broke about Ben not being Cole’s, the press had hounded them. But Cole had refused to make a statement. Steph on the other hand had no such problem and had spilled her guts to them.
She became somewhat of a celebrity, but for all the wrong reasons. She was regularly photographed falling out of one night club or another and usually with a different man every time. The newspaper headlines would say “Thomas lucky escape”. Cole would always just sigh and say they all seemed to have forgotten about the baby.
She wondered if he would ever truly get over what happened with Ben.
She thought of their Little Bean. She knew her baby was already so loved and wanted. Something she had never really felt and it made her sad that somewhere out there, there was a little boy no one really wanted too.
    Cole moved slightly and then
