anything about different positions or different types of sex?”
Ashley’s eyes grew wide. Different positions? “No. I thought you just got on top of me and put your, um…”
    “Cock,” he supplied.
“Inside of me, and that was it.”
“God, no one can be that innocent. Where were you raised, in a convent?”
“No, but my parents didn’t talk about things like that, and I was so busy going to college getting my degrees that I guess I missed that portion of my education.” She was angry now because he was making fun of her.
“Did you say degrees? Just how many do you have?”
“Three. I have one in business, one in advertising, and one in graphic design.” She couldn’t figure out what that had to do with anything.
“Do you know how many degrees Keeton and I have between us? A big, fat zero. We finished high school, but we never went to college. We’ve worked on a ranch since we were fifteen.”
“I don’t see where that matters. You got on-the-job training. I got book training and had to learn how to work when I took my first job. Believe me, you were much better off. I nearly got fired the first week.”
“My point is, you’re nothing like we expected. This is going to take some figuring out.” Boyd sighed again and shook his head. “I’m going outside to look around. We’ll be in for lunch.” He turned around and marched out the door, shutting it behind him.
“At least he didn’t slam it.”
What was she going to do now?

Chapter Three

“What do you mean she’s a fucking virgin? How the hell did that happen?”
“She didn’t tell them in her paperwork. She didn’t think it mattered.” Boyd leaned up against the barn that held three horses.
Boyd had found Keeton mucking out the stalls and feeding the horses. Now he leaned on the pitchfork and looked as if he wanted to ram it through something. Keeton was known for his fierce temper, though he was slow to rile. Right now, he was in full-fury mode.
“What in the hell are we going to do with her?” Keeton asked.
“Introduce her to sex. It’s all we can do. I for one am not going to go the rest of my life with a hard-on using my fist for relief.”
“Boyd, I’m too rough for a virgin. I’ll hurt her. I couldn’t bear to hurt her.” He swallowed hard and turned back to forking hay over in the stalls. “You’re going to have to take care of her. I can’t touch her.”
“Like hell you’re putting this all on me, man. This is a partnership we have here. You’re just as much responsible for her as I am. We signed the paperwork. We share everything between us. Including the problems,” Boyd reminded him.
“This isn’t a problem. It’s a fucking disaster! Think about it, Boyd. She’s a sweet girl. She deserves someone who’ll make love to her every night and kiss her good-morning. We fuck more than we make love.” Keeton slammed the pitchfork down into the dirt floor of the stable and leaned it against the back wall.
“We have to give her a chance, Keeton. She deserves more from us than this. She didn’t balk when I kissed her, and she didn’t panic when she found herself wrapped around you like an octopus.”
Keeton paced in front of the stalls. He balled his hands into fists before relaxing and balling into fists again. Finally he turned to Boyd and huffed out a breath.
“Fine. You take her virginity, though. I’m not about to do that.”
“As long as you’re there in case I screw something up. I’m not doing this alone.”
“How in the hell did we end up in this mess? I was so brutally honest on my form I thought for sure they wouldn’t take me,” Keeton said.
“You and me both. Get this, she has three degrees on top of being a virgin. How did they manage to pair her with us even without her virginity being in the way?” Boyd asked.
“Hell if I know. Sounds like they played spin the bottle to me.”
“Come on. Let’s look at the rest of the yard. Danny said we need to put up a fence
