    “I am too. I feel better. I think I’m happier.”
    “I’m even more pleased to hear that.”
    She took a chance and reached over to touch his hand. “I’m glad you contacted me.”
    He squeezed her hand. “I am too.” He gazed down into her eyes for a long moment and didn’t move.
    She felt silly for assuming he was about to kiss her and turned her head away, but he caught her chin and turned her back to look at him. He leaned in and kissed her firmly.
