dismiss him a bit. I wanted to distance myself from him. No sense in getting caught up in him if this was a onetime thing. Seeing the look in his eyes scared me as he seemed to tell me that he was nowhere near done with me.  What are the chances that we would meet up again anyway?  Houston was a big city. 
I was able to get a wifi password hook up and got to work on mapping the new drilling site for Stone Oil Industries.  I kept my conversation to a minimum with Damien; I got what I wanted from him, now it was time for me and for healing.  But maybe, I will give him my number.  He could be my “friend with benefits” if he would be agreeable to that.  This is a new Selina taking control over her life.  I actually started getting excited about the new me.
    Chapter 6  Damien
    So Selina is keeping her distance.  That’s ok; I’ll have the last laugh come Tuesday.  She never asked me what I did for a living.  I never asked her either to keep my part a secret.  Knowing that I would see her again made what would have been a bit of panic take a back seat to the excitement of getting to know her.  We finished off the appetizers and had one more round of drinks.  She seemed very pleased with herself as she started some of the work for me on her laptop.  That brought a smile to my face.  I realized I had to do one thing so reaching into my pocket, I grabbed my cell phone and typed a quick text to my driver who was waiting for me.
    DT, you will be driving Dr. Harrison to her apartment.   Do not under any circumstances acknowledge me at all.  I will not be riding with her.  She has no idea who I am and I want to keep it that way until Tuesday morning.  I will take a cab to my condo.
    Boss, your secret is safe with me.  I will enjoy ignoring you, BUT you will never take a cab on my watch.  I will have my friend Larry pick you up in his sedan.  He will be holding a sign with your last name on it.  It’s not safe for you to take a cab.
    DT, you are the best.  A smart ass but the best.  Thank you.  We should be landing in about an hour.  I trust you can get your friend there in time?
    Yes Boss, already text him.  He will be waiting for you when you walk out of baggage claim.  If he sees the doctor with you, he will discreetly move the sign away.  Just look for a white rose in his lapel.

    Well, it won’t have an effect on me but at least I will know who he is. Thanks DT.

    Ok, so that was taken care of.  Since I’m getting ignored by Princess Selina, I’ll close my eyes for a few minutes until we start to descend.  I can start to plot and plan how I will win her over. 
    Chapter 7  Houston
    “Damien, we are getting ready to land.”  I looked at this formidable man as he slept.  His eyelashes were so long, they were the kind that women would be jealous of.  Looking at his mouth and hands, I had already known firsthand what he was capable of.  I decided to give him my cell number.  It would be nice to have a “friend” in Houston.  When I looked back up to his face, he was staring right at me.  I was lost in those blue depths and really couldn’t gage what he was thinking about.
“We are getting ready to land.  You were sleeping for the last hour.”
“What were you doing while I was sleeping?”
Of course he guessed I was looking at him from time to time.  Who wouldn’t?  He was gorgeous. 
“I got a good head start on work for my new job.  Wrote a few emails, made up lists of what I would need for my new home, that kind of thing.”
“I understand.  Would it be too presumptuous of me to ask for your number?  I would love to see you again Selina, once you get settled in.  I could show you around Houston
