My first two classes went by quickly today. I was anxious about having Oliver in class today. It was still a bit cold out. I wrapped my jacket tighter to my body as I trudged across the court yard to the English building. At least he won't talk to me with other students in class. Hesitating a moment, I opened the classroom door and stepped in. Oliver stood at the front of the room with a few people around his desk. They looked up as I opened the door. I recognized them as a few of the guys from last night.
"Everlyn, I'm glad you’re early, we need to talk," Oliver told me stepping around his desk.
"Actually, I just remembered I have somewhere else to be," I told him and turned on my heels to leave.
"Stop!" He ordered in a hard voice. I froze cursing at myself. I could just open the door and run. The door opened before me and students stared to enter. I stepped out of there way and glanced back at Oliver. He gave a forced smile at the students.
I turned walking past him and his friends to my desk. The nice guy from last night smiled at me shaking his head. I slide into my seat and faced the front giving a polite smile. Oliver didn't look pleased at all. The guys clustered around his desk said goodbye and left. The guy who had smiled at me waved as he exited the room.
Class drug by and Oliver's mood changed slowly. He was back to his happy self. When the end of class came he smiled sweetly at everyone.
"That will be all for today," He told us. Everyone stood and stretched then started heading for the door. I shoved my stuff in my bag and jumped up to follow them.
"Miss Fox, will you stay a moment?" He asked politely, just as I got in front of his desk. I stopped.
"Ever? You don't mind me calling you that do you?" Oliver asked once all the students had left.
"I think you better stick to the more formal approach, Mr. Wolfe," I replied.
He smirked. "Of course, Miss Fox."
"Is there something you needed?" I asked impatiently. I wanted to get away from him. I didn't have a class later today but I didn't want to stay in here with him.
"I was just going to ask if you were going out again," he smiled politely.
                  "Why?" I asked suspiciously.
"Well, I do owe you a drink, don't I?" He smirked.
"Don't worry about it," I muttered eyeing him carefully.
"How would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" He offered.
"Oh, not a good idea," I shook my head.
"Look, Oliver. I don't know what's up with your random mood changes and everything but having dinner is a bad idea. You’re my teacher, it's illegal," I told him with a frown.
"It's not illegal, it's unethical, and like I said before if no one knows there isn't a problem," he shrugged.
"Illegal or not, you will still lose your job," I informed him.
"And, you care if I do?" He asked stepping closer to me, amusement in his eyes.
"I didn't say that," I protested stepping away from him. "And, what if I do tell? It's not that big of a deal."
His face went hard. "It is that big of a deal."
"I don't want to know anything. As far as I'm concerned last night didn't happen. I want no part of whatever the hell you’re into." I scowled at him.
"You might be saying that but you could be lying," he smirked again.
"What do you want me to do to prove to you
