week since Hurricane Nikki rolled into my life and everything I swore I would never fucking do or want is happening. The girl is a damn addiction for me. Ever since the first night I had a taste of her, she’s all I can think about. Her smart mouth is constantly keeping me guessing and her body has me on high alert every damn second of the day.
As hesitant as she was, I have gotten her in my bed every night this week. She swears that one day she just won't answer when I call, but we both know she’s as addicted to this as much as I am.
She is like no woman I have ever met. She’s tough, and in no way wants me to take care of her. Which if I’m honest, only makes me want to more. I love pissing her off because when she gets mad she is only hotter. Trust me, I get how damn messed up that is. I haven’t taken her back to the club since that first day and she has made it clear it’s nowhere that she wants to be.
It’s the only thing about her that I would change. The club is my life, my family. I feel like if she could drop her bullshit assumptions, she’d love it. I just got back from a three-day run and all I want to do is go find her and sink myself deep into her.
She won’t tell me where she lives, or let me drop her off there. Apparently her father hates bikers and everything about the clubs. Being a preacher, he’s really religious and feels we’re all living in sin. When she told me that, I asked her if her father ever met her; that cost me a bit. I enjoyed every minute of it though.
“Twisted!” I turn to see Lucy walking up to me. Lucy came to the club when she was only fourteen and looking for protection from her psychotic family. She and my brother Whip are engaged, and I think of the girl as my little sister. She gives me a hug. “Hey, I didn’t know you were back. What are you doing down here?”
“Meeting someone.” I haven’t told anyone but Whip about Nikki.
She scrunches her eyebrows at me. “Okay…”
I see Nikki out of the corner of my eye but she stops when she spots Lucy. Her eyes narrow and she turns on her heel, walking away. Shit. “Hold on Luce.” I jog after her. One thing I’ve learned is that something has happened in this girl’s past. She’s been hurt because she takes no bullshit and has no problem walking away if she feels like she has an excuse to. Sometimes it’s like she is looking for a damn excuse. I catch up, standing in front of her and blocking her path. “It isn’t even what you think.”
“It’s cool. I’m not your old lady. I don’t even want to be. She can have you.” She tries to walk around me but I stop her.
“You have no idea what you’re talking about. Calm the bitch down for a minute and come here.” I take her hand, giving her a hard tug before she starts to walk. We get back to my bike and Lucy. She is looking at Nikki as if she’s an alien. “Lucy this is Nikki, Nikki this is Lucy, she is my brother Whip’s old lady. She’s also basically my adopted little sister.”
Lucy smiles at Nikki. “Hey, nice to meet you.” She looks over at me, a huge smile on her face. Lucy is the same as my damn sister, always trying to tell me to meet a girl and claim an old lady. I can see her plotting in her head right now. “Well, I need to get home, but you two have fun.” The smile on her face tells me I’m screwed.
“You know, you could always ask before you just assume shit.” I look over at her. As much as I love her attitude, it makes me insane at the same time.
Her arms are crossed over her chest and I can see some red in her cheeks. She’s embarrassed. “This is why I told you none of this would work.”
She goes to walk away and I grab her hand. “You’re not just gonna leave. Let’s go, you’re comin’ home with me.”
Her face is reluctant. I can see the internal struggle as her eyes dart back and forth between my bike and the sidewalk. “What are we even doing? This is crazy.”
I pull her to me, kissing her, hoping
