“You can walk at normal speed,” Jack whispered in Olivia’s ear as she led him between tables toward the restroom. “I’m not a child.”

At the restroom, she gave the door a sharp knock. When no one answered, she twisted the handle. “All clear. It’s a one stall. The sink is straight ahead and the toilet is just beyond it on the same wall.”
“Brilliantly done.” He stepped inside and turned around before shutting the door. Even knowing he couldn’t see, she found it hard to believe. “Do you look as good as you smell?”
