confused.
"I need to make sure they don't come back happy," Shelby said grabbing her purse and walking out the front door.
Jackie sighed, "When you’re stupid, you’re stupid." She grumbled.
Shelby made her way down to her vehicle and drove off, frustrated by the thoughts of the romantic nights she shared with Tobias. She hated their last conversation and she knew that if she called his phone one more time, she would lose her financial security for good. However, if it was for business it couldn't hurt.
She dialed his number and was startled when a female answered. "Hello?" she repeated for the second time. Shelby hung up the phone and burst into tears.
Azura looked at the cell phone puzzled...
"Who was it?" Tobias asked as gently rubbed more sunscreen onto his wife's back.
She looked at the cell phone to see what the Caller ID displayed. "Shelby?" Azura answered.
Tobias suddenly became ridged. "What did she say?" he asked.
"Nothing, she hung up." Azura replied.
"I guess it wasn't important," Tobias said blowing off the subject.
"Well, who is she?" Azura asked. She was already jealous about the call and didn't like the energy she was feeling coming from him.
"Ah, well, Shelby is my secretary," Tobias answered visibly uncomfortable with the conversation.
Azura observed the signs that his body and spirit were giving her. It was something she learned from her wolf mother so many years ago. It just seemed to stay with her all these years. She was amazing good at reading people’s body language and energy. And what was coming from Tobias was turning her stomach. They had three more weeks on their honeymoon and she was already beginning to sense a major life mistake coming her way.
Tobias realized he had given his wife a reason to suspect the wrong thing about him by not being completely forth coming about his past relationship with Shelby. However, if he told her everything would she understand why he is keeping her on as his secretary? "We should talk more about this," he said not wanting her to misunderstand anything.
"No. This is an arranged marriage," she said standing up and leaving.
"Azura, where are you going?" he asked following her.
"I'm fine," she said turning to face him. "I'm just going to call back home and make sure my mom is okay," she said giving him a fake smile.
"Okay, I'll give you some privacy, I'll wait for you down here," He informed her.
"Sure, see you later," she turned and left coldly.
His only desire was to clear any confusion she may have with Shelby; however, Azura had every right to be upset. He handled the situation poorly. Tobias watched as Azura disappeared into the resort. He thought about calling Shelby back and firing her. He had taken a gamble on agreeing to the arranged marriage with Azura and he did not regret it. The last thing he needed was unwanted skeletons tumbling out of his closet. He rushed back to where he and his wife were lounging by the pool. He sought out his cell phone and pressed redial. The phone went straight to voice mail. He needed to speak with her directly, leaving a voice mail was pointless; she would claim she never received it.

Azura made her call back home to her mother and she was happy to be able to have a short conversation with her mother. She didn't want to stress her with her problems so she kept the conversation short and pleasant. After speaking with her mother she took a shower then sat down on the bed naked as she thought about how she felt concerning her last conversation with Tobias and their arrangement. For a moment she had forgotten it wasn't a real marriage. She thought about the love that they had been making and what would happen should she become pregnant. In her rage it just wasn't something she was thinking about.
"This is a mistake," she began to cry. "I married a complete stranger...but, my mom...I had no choice, she just wants to know that I will be taken care of," she reasoned with herself. "But, no child should be
