her number.
Dakota smiled at her and said, “Thank you.”
“Where is Cameron?” Cody asked.
“Hell he is going to be really busy this week. They have him attending almost every rodeo event and writing recaps. He did promise to get away to see the Toby Keith concert. I’m taking Georgia so we can party with Cameron.”
He looked at her with a question in his eyes. She shook her head yes with a twinkle in her eye at how he had just assumed she was going, but she was no fool. She loved Toby Keith.
“Speaking of concerts I’ve promised Tammy I would take her to see the Carey Underwood concert. You two want to go? It’s Thursday night.”
Dakota looked at Georgia. “Do you want to go honey?”
At least this time he asked her. “Yes but aren’t those tickets sold out? It’s at the MGM Grand right?”
Cody assured her he would be able to get the tickets. He texted one of his rodeo sponsors and in a few minutes there was a text back that the four tickets would be waiting for them at the door. Georgia was excited to get to see two concerts. Before meeting up with Dakota again, she hadn’t known what she was going to do during the week and now it seemed to be filling up with lots of fun things and she had to admit to herself she was excited to get to spend more time with Dakota and his family.
Dakota stood up and took Georgia’s hand. “We’ll leave you two lovebirds for your lunch. I need to walk off all the food we just gorged on at the buffet. I’m going to have to get up early and exercise in the gym to get ready for Friday.”
“Me, too, I think I gained five pounds,” Georgia laughed. “But how early were you thinking Dakota?”
“Seven AM unless we’re busy doing something else?” he raised his eyebrows at her.
“In your dreams, cowboy.” She leaned down to give Tammy another hug before they walked into the casino.

As they walked, Georgia asked Dakota if Cody missed being in the rodeo.
“No, he has what he wants. He’s so happy with Tammy and the ranch. Hell, even though he didn’t compete the last few months he had still made enough money to qualify for this year’s NFR, but when he retired in Cheyenne, he’s never looked back and I’ve never seen him so content.”
Georgia smiled. “How romantic.”
“I think we should play the twenty dollar bill from hell in a dollar machine,” Dakota said, and he pulled out the notorious bill.
Her eyes twinkled up at him, “What a great idea.”
“You get the honors since this money was meant for your breakfast.”
“I’ve never gambled before… I don’t even know how.”
Dakota took her hand and walked her over to a dollar machine. “Sit here Tammy and put the money in this slot.” She did as he told her. “Now let’s bet the maximum so all you have to do is push this red button right here.”
The three wheels spun around and around and ended with three red sevens on the same line. There was an American flag through each seven’s middle with a ribbon with the word “triple” weaving through the flag. The machine started flashing lights and making the loudest bells and dinging noises Georgia had ever heard.
“We won!” Georgia shouted and the dollar amount at the top of the slot machine started showing their winnings, slowly increasing by hundreds of dollars. She jumped up and threw her arms around Dakota and kissed him. She pulled back smiling and laughing, and Dakota reached down and pulled her back into her arms and resumed the kiss. The kiss went on and on with the bells and the dinging going off in the machine behind them. When the machine noise finally quieted down, everyone was applauding them but they weren’t paying any attention to anyone in the room but each other. Dakota’s tongue was inside her mouth and he was growling again. She was clinging to him.
Someone tapped Georgia on the shoulder. “Excuse me ma’am.” She pulled back and
