Gentle snoring awoke her, coupled with a long arm draped possessively across her waist. Lizzy blinked her eyes in the dawning light. The scent of Connor hung heavy in the air, more importantly, the mixed scent of them both soothed her wolf. Her mind began to pick up speed as she realised another day had come, it was the day she was going back to her old pack to kick the shit out of the pack seer. Okay maybe not that, but she had imagined herself doing that many times. Five years had been a long time, she had chosen not to return because she hoped that being on her own would give her wolf time to re-emerge, it seemed the sensible thing to do at the time. But time had passed and, the distance further. Looking down at the tanned skin on Connors arms, she smiled when he said they would get her wolf back and he was coming with her. More than anything in the world she wanted him to come but she felt that to bring him into her old pack might not be wise. What she did not tell him was that the alphas son, Oliver, had been one hundred percent behind his father for them to mate, that was of course before the whacko did his mumbo jumbo. Oliver was typical of the Oakfield alpha in line of succession, arrogant, demanding and cruel. It was another reason she had not returned, the pack was so archaic and the male wolves heartless and brutal to the females who disobeyed. Sick bastards. She could not let Connor witness that, shame would flood her at where she had come from. Her parents being of the old line had followed Oakfield’s rules, giving their alpha whatever he wanted which included their only daughter, eventually giving their alpha their lives as well. Attacked by a rogue shifter Lawson had said, somehow she still found that hard to believe when it was only her parents in full view of the pack. That was the day her younger brother Brandon had disappeared. Lizzy had always looked out for him, but on this day she failed. That did not mean she never stopped looking.
Biting her Lip, she made her mind up, she would find the seer herself and if he could release her wolf then she could come back to Connor a new person. Quietly she pushed back the covers, the cooler morning air rushing over her naked skin. Her legs moved to get out the bed but the damn things were stuck on something. Trying not to wake him she put a little more effort into the manoeuvre but a tightness locked at her ankle. She pushed back the remaining sheets and sat up.
Oh he did not do that the controlling bastard
The long cord of her robe had been tied around her ankle connecting to Connors. The sneaky son of a bitch. Growling in frustration she gave up being quiet and launched herself on the knot. Immediately large hands covered hers.
    “Going somewhere Lizzy?” he rumbled
“Just what the hell do you thing you are bloody doing wolf, I’m not a dog on a leash!” she yelled
Connor flipped her so fast onto her back the air rushed out of her lungs. His lips pressed hard against her lips, his cock slid into her effortlessly, causing her to groan aloud.
“Making sure you were not planning on running again, what shade of hair colour were you planning this time, which by the way, I kind of like the new look!”
Lizzy stared up at his smirking face, the burn of amber penetrating into her. Slowly he moved back and took her deep again. Sweet sinful thoughts raced through her.
“You think I was running?” she gasped.
“Oh I know you were planning to, which is why I had a little alarm system holding us together”
“ You could have just asked you know”
“Yeah but this is more fun, I like having you tied up, on demand”
His rhythm picked up speed taking them on the euphoric journey she had come to love.

Connor shook his head at Lizzy across the cafe table. He wanted to make sure they had a good breakfast before they left for her old pack. She had said it was another thirty five miles away, and he wanted to get an early start. He scented
