closed the distance between them. Her instincts told her to back away but her body betrayed her. She stood her ground and didn’t pull away when he reached for her.
    Once again, like all those times in the visitation area, he didn’t ask. She knew in her heart he would never ask. He was a taker and she needed to walk away while she still could. He was weakening her resolve and she had to work with him.
    But when he touched her, she was lost.

    He gave her a minute to refuse and when she didn’t, he kissed her hard on the mouth. She was like a drug to him. He almost obsessed about her and this had never happened to him before. She was an addiction he would have to purge from himself and then perhaps he could be around her without this absolute hunger swirling around them.

                  Kristen was lost in the kiss, in his touch. She felt his hands on her lower back, and still lower. When he moved his hands around and upwards, reaching beneath her shirt, she felt her skin ignite and her heart thump against her chest.
    She had never done this before and she tried to find the words to tell him. Would he think her a silly school girl—a child—for being a virgin?  She had never been embarrassed by her inexperience, but suddenly she was. She pulled away from him and he looked at her with puzzled eyes.
    “I want you,” he said simply.
    “I know, but—”
    He reached down and kissed her again.
    “Does that feel good to you?” he asked.
    “Yes.”
    His hand moved beneath the fabric of her bra and touched her breast.
    “Does that feel good to you?” he asked again.
    “Yes.”
    He rubbed her nipple between his fingers. It was bliss. He pulled her shirt off—she hadn’t even realized when he’d unbuttoned it—and then unhooked her bra. He caressed her breasts in his hands.
    “You are so beautiful.” He ran his tongue over her breasts, nibbling on the deep pink of her nipple, licking them, torturing her and making her come to him. If he wanted her willing and ready for him, he was succeeding.
                  Kristen allowed herself the pleasure of enjoying his touch; she rolled her head back and moaned softly. She was oblivious to the rest of the world.
    Oblivious until she heard the front door open and someone say, "Hello”.
    Logan heard it as well. He immediately stopped and handed her the shirt and bra he had removed.
    Kristen raced to the bathroom to put it back on and gain some control over her racing and malfunctioning bodily systems.
    She couldn’t believe she had allowed things to get that out of control.
    She could hear Logan talking to Shanna. Right. Shanna would be her assistant. How embarrassing.
    When Kristen had put her clothing back on and splashed water on her face, she decided it was time to come out. She couldn’t hide in the bathroom forever. She was very grateful she’d chosen an office with a bathroom, or she would have been caught with her clothes off. Well, she had been caught with some of her clothes off, but at least she’d had somewhere to run. The thought mortified her and she resolved she would control herself better around Logan. They had to work together and a relationship would just complicate things. With this, she made her way out to the waiting area where Logan was properly charming Shanna. She smiled at the way he could relax everyone in the room and yet make them completely flustered. He was an oxymoron.
    “Hello, Shanna. I’m so happy you came in. We’ll need you as soon as possible to get everything going and to cover things when I have to go out.” And to keep me and Logan clothed, Kristen thought to herself. She hoped she wasn’t as red as she felt.
    “I can start tomorrow,” Shanna said with a huge grin. “Logan has already told me my salary and I’m quite motivated to get started. Not to mention that this job will actually help people in this community.” Kristen adored Shanna just then for acting as if she hadn’t walked in on
