    “Maybe. But he wouldn’t be gone all the time , and he might not have every woman in the country panting after him.”
    “Perhaps. But then again , maybe he’d be gone all the time anyway, trying to make a meager living, and maybe his height and rugged good looks alone would still get the female attention you would just as soon didn’t exist.”

    Levi frowned. “I’m not sure I like this weirdness that ’s becoming more obvious between the three of us lately. I miss the old us. The us that used to tease one another and fake boxing matches all the time.”
    “We were kids when we used to punch each other on a regular basis , but I know what you mean. It seems like there’s been a lot of change in the past few months.
